maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place
setteth light by his father or his mother
removeth his neighbor's landmark
maketh the blind to wander out of the way
perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow
lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt
lieth with any manner of beast
lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother
lieth with his mother in law
smiteth his neighbor secretly
taketh reward to slay an innocent person
confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them
And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.1

1 Chronicles 1-8
The first 8 chapters of the book of the Bible called First Chronicles is an extensive genealogy. In this application we show it as an interactive family tree. The diagram is made according to the texts of the English ESV and ISV translations. There is variation of interpretation of family relations between certain translations.
To follow the text, press the right arrow or click on the ">" link on the top of the right panel. You'll be presented with persons and notes about those persons in the order as it is written in the Bible.
In addition to this, you can also:
Discover the chart by panning and zooming it.
Select any person on the chart by clicking on it. On the right side you'll see all relevant notes written in the Bible for the selected person, such as
notes specifically for this person
notes that apply to this person through an ancestor
notes about others that mention the selected person
Click on a note in the right side to see whom it apply to
Inspect the chapter and verse reference for any person or note.
Change the diagram type. There are 2 types of diagrams:
A circular tree diagram, where the generation of each person (how many steps since Adam) is preserved, and
A more spread out, where lines of families are more clear and easy to follow.
